How to Install Bitdefender Antivirus on Ubuntu 10.04

Download:

Install:
sudo sh BitDefender-Antivirus-Scanner-7.6-4.linux-gcc4x.i586.deb.run

Run:
Applications menu> System Tools> BitDefender Scanner

Type the license key
http://www.bitdefender.com/site/Products/ScannerLicense/

Update & Scan


Remove:
sudo apt-get purge bitdefender-scanner bitdefender-scanner-gui

sudo mv ar9271.fw /lib/firmware


Now download this file to your desktop:

Terminal :

cd Desktop
tar xjvf compat-wireless-2010-05-06.tar.bz2
cd compat-wireless-2010-05-06
make && sudo make install


Reboot.
